Cruise-OSA.com is a community website for modified car owners to discuss their current projects and arrange meetings throughout the United Kingdom.
Lani.Logic were approached by Cruise-OSA.com to design and build their brand new website in late 2009, and have developed a fantasic solution for their community.
At it's core, the website is a discussion forum which runs on a SQL Server 2008 database, ensuring high-speed and stability.
Powered by our unique community system, the website boasts real-time "push" updates to logged-in members to keep them abreast of who's online, and who's posting at any point in time. A Facebook-style notification feed is displayed in real-time, instantly notifying users of new messages or uploaded photographs.
The website also boasts a complete event planning and mapping system which is used to arrange group visits to car shows around the country, and randomly nominate convoy-leaders who will direct the rest of the members to the location on the day.
Integration of Flickr photographs, YouTube and Vimeo video clips complete the community aspect of the site, keeping the content constantly up-to-date and fresh.
